More than a year after seven employees from the Maverick County Auditors office filed an employment discrimination complaint against Auditor Sandra Watkins with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOCC), the Maverick Commissioners Court has settled the case with the accusing employees.

  Maverick County's quarrel with a group of taxpayers was once again discussed in executive session during the Commissioners Court meeting held on Thursday March 30.

    However, the court took no action on the matter after they came back from executive session.
